Dota 2: Mudgolems And VP Are Out Of OGA Dota PIT Season 4 EU/CIS

Here is what happened today in the OGA Dota PIT Season 4: EU/CIS.

This amazing tournament features some of the best teams in the world. Today, we got to see the elimination series where Team Nigma went against mudgolems, and Alliance took on Virtus.Pro.

Sadly, VP and mudgolems were unable to live up to expectations and had to wave goodbye to the event.

Nigma vs mudgolems

The first series of the day was between two powerhouses. MG played really well against their opponents the last time the two met, which is why people were really interested to see the outcome of this fight.

Sadly, their efforts were not enough to bring down the might TI 7 champions. Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi’s Anti-Mage helped his team rip through mudgolems. Following the unsuccessful result, Adrian “Fata” Trinks and his teammates are now out of the event. On the other hand, Nigma will continue forward.

Virtus.Pro vs Alliance

The second series of the day was probably the more interesting one though. Virtus.Pro and Alliance have been really strong lately. In fact, the teams won the EPIC League Division 1 and 2 just a few days ago.

The first game of the series was pretty even during the first couple of minutes. However, VP was able to take the lead and didn’t let it slip, which secured them a victory in Game One. Unfortunately, they were unable to do the same in Game Two. Despite the lead, Alliance managed to bounce back and get the victory.

Game Three was everything the fans wanted to see. We saw tons of back and forth action, as VP managed to secure the first lane of Rax. Everything was going well for the CIS powerhouse, but Alliance managed to come back yet again. Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov and his Juggernaut were too hard to deal with, and since VP had no answer, they crumbled under the pressure. They did purchase a Divine Rapier for their Sven, but even this was not enough to stop Alliance’s march.
