fnatic make it official with Golden

fnatic has made it official with Maikil “Golden” Selim once more. The organization has revealed it’s decision to sign the 25-year-old from Cloud9.

Golden has been playing with fnatic since they received him on loan in the last few months of 2019. During his time with him at the helm, fnatic managed to win DreamHack Masters Malmö, place second at StarSeries i-League Season 8 and ESL Pro league Season 10 Finals.

“After much deliberation, countless hours of internal meetings, four semifinal placements out of four, three grand finals, a trophy in Malmö, top four on all of your favourite ranking websites,” the organization said before announcing the decision.

This run of success earned the team a third-place ranking in the HLTV world rankings.

Golden had played with fnatic from August 2017 to June 2018 as well, however, he departed the roster and was replaced by William “draken” Sundin.

The fnatic CS:GO team will be making their 2020 debut at IEM Katowice at the end of February. The qualifiers for the event recently came to a close and now it’s time to prep for many teams.
