Nuno Silva, Country Manager at devolo Portugal, commented: “The path to victory in esports is made with high-quality internet, which is why devolo decided to join OFFSET Esports in order to offer the best possible connections, either over Wi-Fi or Ethernet via powerline.”
Aside from seemingly being provided with devolo’s products, details over any other activations planned between the entities have not been revealed.
According to the release, the main goal for the bootcamp will be to utilise a ‘rigorous’ training programme, that aims to maximise the individual capabilities of each CS:GO player. Also mentioned in the release, the bootcamp is seen as a chance for some of OFFSET’s newer players to integrate themselves into the group and strengthen the team’s spirit.

The bootcamp will last for a week, starting on 19th April. It is believed that developing teamwork through the bootcamp will give the players a boost before the team’s upcoming challenges.
In recent months, OFFSET Esports has been active in securing commercial partners. In 2021, the Portuguese organisation has partnered with the likes of technological solutions brand TSUNAMI and noblechairs.
Founded in 2002, devolo is a German technology company that aims to manufacture future-oriented products and solutions, specifically revolving around ‘smart’ technology.
Esports Insider says: It’s really interesting to see different types of partnerships, and devolo sponsoring OFFSET’s CS:GO bootcamp certainly falls into that category. It’ll be interesting to see if any other activations come from the partnership.
