XSET Signs Two-Year Partnership With Sports Nutrition Brand GHOST
Gaming and esports organization XSET announced Tuesday a two-year partnership with sports nutrition brand GHOST that will see both companies collaborate on a variety of initiatives. This is the first partnership deal for XSET since its launch in July.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
GHOST will serve as XSET’s partner of record for protein, gaming, and performance supplements, and ready-to-drink beverages, and will provide XSET’s streamers, athletes, and esports teams with GHOST products. GHOST will also be a featured jersey sponsor for XSET’s multiple esports teams and serve as an official sponsor of its Esports Series events.
XSET was founded in July by former FaZe Clan President Greg Selkoe, along with former FaZe Clan execs Wil Eddins and Clinton Sparks, and former Framerate Founder Marco Mereu. The goal of the new organization is to promote inclusivity and the social good by signing, working with, and promoting a diverse line-up of streamers, athletes, and professional esports players.
“This is something all of us have believed in for a long time,” Selkoe told The Esports Observer in an interview last month. “It was something that Mark and I’ve been talking about long before–the current social unrest or discussion. I really want people to know that this comes from an authentic place. It’s important for me. This is not our first time speaking about these issues.”
