Could Borderlands 3 come to the Nintendo Switch?

Borderlands 3 has been a huge hit for Gearbox and publisher 2K on PS4, Xbox One and PC, but could it make the jump to another platform like the Nintendo Switch?

The loot-shooter was nominated for best action/adventure and best multiplayer game at the Game Awards, and despite not winning either, has been an impressive return for a franchise that was absent for a whole nine years.

The game attracted more concurrent players on PC than any ever game in the developer's history when it launched in September – despite being exclusive to the Epic Games Store until April 2020.

It also nabbed the biggest physical launch week sales of 2019 in the UK – showing that us Brits really do love a desolate wasteland to create chaos in.

In our own review, Games Writer Jamie Nightingale awarded the game 4 out of 5 stars – praising the new worlds and loot. You can read the full review here.
