FIFA 20 Web App WARNING – Web App login not working? You might need to read this

FIFA 20 will launch on EA Access today and alongside it will be the FIFA 20 Web App.

This is important for one very good reason.

Namely, if you're not an EA Access subscriber, you can still get a head start on your FIFA Ultimate Team, buying, selling and trading on the FUT transfer market to your heart's content.

However, in the lead up to the Web App launch later today, the EA community manager (EA_Andy) has taken to the FIFA 20 forum to deliver some bad news.

The FIFA 20 figurehead has warned forum users that some players may not have access to the web app right away and could have to wait.

Writing on the EA Forums, Andy told fans:

"With the Web App launching today I know everyone will be eager to get into the FUT Transfer Market. For details around transfer market access we do have this article which I'd recommend reading.

The key points are this:

  • Not everyone will have access when the Web/Companion App launches
  • You should get a message telling you whether you can access in-game when the game launches, or whether you are banned completely (images are in the article above)
  • No-one on the forum team, or in the support team via EA Help can grant access. You will need to do whatever is mentioned in the message you receive.

The Community Manager also added:

"I fully understand that everyone is eager and awaiting transfer market access, but I wanted to set expectations around not only the fact that some players won't get in, but also that there isn't anything that can be done in terms of getting you in early, before the game is out."

Unfortunately, it seems like most players won't discover whether they have access to the Web App until it goes live, which is likely to be around 7pm BST this evening (and even then the website will likely be crushed by thousands of users logging in).

Stay tuned for more info, and as EA Andy suggested, take a look at the EA support page for further details if you are struggling to gain access.
