In Fire Emblem Engage, you will travel around Elyos, journeying to each of the continent's four kingdoms to gather their Emblem Rings. After meeting a Kingdom, you have the option to donate some Gold to them back at the Somniel, earning Alear some various bonuses, like more resources, outfits for your team, and unique weapons.
Donating can be an expensive endeavor, especially at later levels, but some of the exclusive rewards earned through it can be game-changing. Below, we'll take a look at everything you need to know about donating, including how to do it, what you get at each level for each kingdom, and which ones are the best to upgrade when on a tighter budget.
How To Donate
The donation system is unlocked shortly after meeting up with Alfred in Firene. More donation regions will be unlocked as you progress through the story and meet the rest of the cities. To donate, interact with the Bulletin Board at the Cafe Terrace in the Somniel. This is the same place you go to check your achievements.
For each of the four kingdoms, there are five donation levels. Each donation level increases the chances of Gold and Silver Corrupted Skirmishes appearing in that region, the amount of resources you get after completing a mission (in the exploration segment), and grants a bundle of one-time rewards, like resources and new weapons. Below, you can find a list of everything that changes with each donation level, for each kingdom.

Is Donating Worth It?
Donating can be expensive, especially at higher levels. Due to the scarcity of gold, you may be wondering if upgrading your donation levels is even worth it. Below, we'll take a look at a few factors to help you decide.
For the early levels, donating is definitely worth it. The cost to go to levels two and three isn't very high, and the extra resources you gain are enough to warrant the investment. However, levels four and five are much more costly, making them a bit out of reach for most of the game. It's entirely possible that you won't even make enough money in an entire playthrough to upgrade more than one region to level five.
However, this changes if you are actively farming Gold, using Anna's exclusive ability Make a Killing, or by repeatedly battling Skirmishes. In this case, when you can get enough Gold to cover the donation cost, it's worth it for the drastically increased extra resources.
If you can only choose one region to donate to, pick either Brodia or Elusia. Upgrading Brodia will provide more of the game's most important resources, ore, while Elusia will increase the chance of Gold Corrupted Skirmishes appearing, making it easier to gather more Gold, which you can then use for weapon upgrading or donating. Alternatively, Solm can be a good choice in place of either, as this will increase the chance of Silver Corrupted Skirmishes appearing, which drop an increased amount of experience points and SP.
