Fortnite update 25.11 release date, patch notes, Crew pack and summer event

A week after the first major update of Season 3, Epic Games is back with a brand new patch for Fortnite. Fortnite update 25.11 has been given a June 27 release date on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Android. Despite its status as a secondary update, Epic Games has confirmed plans to take the game offline for the release of version 25.11. Fortnite servers will be taken offline at 9am BST UK time, although matchmaking will be disabled at 8.30am. The game is expected to come back online at around 11am BST UK time.

The news was announced by Epic Games on Twitter: “Line up the shot and get ready to dive into the upcoming Summer Escape Event with v25.11!

“Downtime begins at 4 AM and matchmaking will be disabled shortly beforehand.”

In addition to the summer event, Epic Games has also revealed plans to release a new cosmetic set for Crew subscribers.

“Construct a full cosmetic set with Volpez in the Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set, an exclusive reward for Fortnite Crew subscribers launching June 27 with release v25.11,” reads an Epic tweet.

Fortnite Crew members will be able to add to the Trickster Legacy Set for every month they are subscribed.

It starts with the Winter’s Trickster Banner Icon, the Tricksters Unite! Emoticon, and Trickster’s Charge Spray on June 27.

Epic will subsequently add the Underfox Lobby Track and Outfoxed Wrap, followed by the Blizzard’s Bite Pickaxe, the Skulk Pack Back Bling and the Volpez Outfit.

In addition to the Trickster Legacy Set, update 25.11 will also lay the foundation for the summer event, which is expected to launch on July 4.
