Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, And Age Of Empires 4 Players Can Avail A Free PC Game Pass Trial

If you happen to be playing either Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, or Age of Empires 4 on your PC, you probably already have PC Game Pass. However, if you've been living under a rock, and aren't aware that all three of these titles were available on PC Game Pass on day-one, then we've got news for you. Microsoft has announced that anyone who plays either of these three games, and is not a PC Game Pass subscriber, will be able to avail of a free trial of the service.

"Thank you for playing and supporting the success of our most recent PC games from Xbox Game Studios!" says the Xbox website. "If you have played Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5 or Age of Empires IV on the PC from launch until 28 February 2022, we are giving you a 3-month trial of PC Game Pass (new members only) to show our appreciation."

Head on over to the website, sign in, and just click on the "Check Eligibility” to see if you can avail of this offer. You can avail it even if you've only played the Halo Infinite multiplayer. You're going to have to put in your card details, so if you don't want to continue, make sure you cancel your subscription in time, or else you'll get charged after your three-month trial.

Speaking of Halo Infinite, a series of datamines has not only revealed that the game will be getting a battle royale mode, but also some details on it. The project's codename, 'Tatanka' gave things away right at the start. Vintage WWF fans will remember a wrestler called Tatanka, who won the 40-man battle royale match called Bashed in the USA in May 1992.

As for the details, the datamine revealed that the battle royale will have multiple modes, including Duos and Quads. Default and DefaultBots modes are also mentioned, which could mean solo and solo with bots. A whole bunch of settings were also revealed, pointing to a fully customizable mode. Next, we learnt that you can have lobbies of either 60 or 100 players or bots, and finally, a tiny detail revealed that the game mode has been tested and played 4834 times in total and 351 times recently.
