PlayStation users have faced problems with the PlayStation Network tonight, with games bouncing out players and services like Netflix not working. Angry users have taken to social media and website Down Detector to complain about the outage.
One user wrote: “Some services are experiencing issues.
“This is currently on PSN website – full systems meltdown”
Another said: “Rah they are taking the p**s man cant even watch Netflix”.
A third added: “Was in the middle of a run on Alien Isolation, went to do something, came back and was warned that my games were locked and could not connect.”

How long will PSN be down for?
The official PlayStation website states “Some services are experiencing issues”.
However, the gaming giants have offered no idea as to when this will be fixed.
Issues seem to be ongoing with Account Management, Gaming and social, PlayStation Now, PlayStation Video and PlayStation Store.
The website states: “You might have difficulty signing in or creating an account for PlayStation Network. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
For Gaming and social the message reads: “Affected platforms: Other, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, PS5, Web
“Affected services: You might have difficulty launching games, apps or network features.
“We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
Down Detector began recording issues at around 10pm this evening – with impacts felt worldwide.
