Pokemon Go’s Free March Bundles Are Available Today

Pokemon Go players can claim a free bundle every Monday in March, and the first one is available today.

Even though you can spend real-life money on Pokemon Go (and a lot of it) the app is free to download and you never have to spend any money on it at all if you don’t want to. Niantic giving away free bundles can help you achieve that. Every Monday throughout March, Pokemon Go players can claim a free bundle. Since today is a Monday, and it’s the first day of March, the first of those five free bundles is available now.

The bundle contains ten Ultra Balls, ten Razz Berries, and a Remote Raid Pass. To claim the bundle, you will need to open up Pokemon Go and head to the in-game shop. At the top of the page, alongside your Daily Free Box, there should be an Event Box. Click on it and “exchange” for free.

The items will then be added to your inventory. The same bundle will be available to claim this time next week, and on all five Mondays throughout the month of March. Plenty of items to help you catch some tricky Pokemon, and also a free Remote Raid Pass, which is always welcome.

Today is a big one for Pokemon Go. Not only is it the first of five Mondays that trainers can grab their free March bundle, but it is also the first day of Battle League season seven. It’s almost the first anniversary of the introduction of the game’s Battle League. It was introduced just as parts of the world were plunged into lockdown. Niantic quickly removed the walking requirement to enter, allowing trainers to battle from the comfort of their own homes ever since.

As for the rest of the Pokemon world, the franchise’s 25th anniversary was celebrated with some very big announcements at the end of last week. The reveal that Diamond and Pearl remakes will be here by the end of the year, and also the unveiling of a whole new open-world Pokemon game, Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Plus, what proved to be a very popular virtual concert featuring Post Malone to mark the occasion.

Josh has been gaming for as long as he can remember. That love began with a mild childhood addiction to the Sega Genesis, or Mega Drive since he lives in the UK. Back then, Sonic 2 quickly became his favorite game and as you might have guessed from his picture, the franchise has remained close to his heart ever since. Nowadays, he splits his time between his PS4 and his Switch and spends far too much time playing Fortnite.
