PS Plus FREE PS4 games: May 2019 PlayStation Plus reveal DELAYED by Sony
PlayStation Plus subscribers are waiting for Sony to reveal the free PS4 games for May 2019.
PlayStation Plus members can download two free PS4 games every month as part of their subscription.
Unfortunately, however, subscribers face an extra long wait, as the PS Plus reveal is delayed until the start of May.
Because of the way the days fall, the PlayStation Plus free PS4 games won’t be announced until May 1.
Worse still, the free PS4 games won’t be available to download until a week later on May 7.
On the plus side, it gives subscribers extra time to download the free PS4 games for April 2019.
First up is open-world survival game Conan Exiles, which can be played in single and multiplayer.
“Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game set in the brutal lands of Conan the Barbarian,” reads the official PlayStation description. “Survive in a savage world, build your kingdom, and dominate your enemies in brutal combat and epic warfare.”
Similar to games like Ark Survival Evolved and even Minecraft, players start with nothing, and must scavenge for items to survive and thrive.
“Start with nothing but your bare hands and forge the legacy of your clan, building anything a small home to gigantic fortresses and entire cities,” the description continues.
“Wage war using swords, bows, siege weapons, and even take control of giant avatars of the gods and lay waste to enemy cities.
“Explore a vast, seamless world full of challenge and opportunity. Hunt animals for resources, slay monsters for treasure, and delve deep underground to discover the secrets of ancient civilizations.”
PS Plus subscribers can also download The Surge, which is developed by the same team as Lords of the Fallen.
“Welcome to CREO, the megacorporation saving our world!” reads a PlayStation listing for The Surge.
“A catastrophic event has knocked you out during the first day on the job… you wake up equipped with a heavy-grade exoskeleton, in a destroyed section of the complex. Robots gone haywire, insane augmented co-workers and rogue AI – everything wants you dead.
“Defy deadly enemies and huge bosses in tight, visceral melee combat. Target and slice specific limbs off your foes, with a next-gen loot system where you loot what you dismember! Equip, upgrade and craft new weapons and armors sliced from enemies, and make yourself stronger through a fresh take on leveling-up.”
