PS Plus July 2019 free games boost: Unmissable PlayStation Plus deal on Amazon Prime Day

Amazon Prime Day is live right now, complete with some fantastic deals for PS4 owners.

Amazon Prime Day – which actually lasts for two days – gives Prime subscribers the chance to purchase hundreds of items at low prices.

Likewise, if you’re not an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can purchase a 12 month Prime subscription for £59 – down from £79 for the year.

In a deal that’s too good to miss, PS4 owners with an Amazon Prime subscription can get 15 months of PS Plus for just £48.99.

This 30% saving is cheaper than the price of a 12-month PS Plus subscription from the PlayStation Store (£49.99).

Unfortunately, however, the offer is only available to Prime subscribers in the UK.

After you complete the purchase, you will receive a link on the order-confirmation page with detailed instruction to redeem your code on PlayStation store,” Amazon explains.

“This link is also stored in your Games & Software Library.”

PlayStation Plus subscribers can access online multiplayer, receive exclusive discounts and get extended cloud storage coverage.

But perhaps best of all are the monthly selection of free PS4 games.

The current PlayStation Plus freebies include Detroit: Become Human for PS4 and Horizon Chase Turbo.

Detroit: Become Human is the latest release from the studio behind Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain.

“Detroit, 2038. Lifelike androids have replaced the human workforce,” reads the official description. “They never tire, never disobey and never say ‘no’… until something changes.

“Some of them have started to behave irrationally, as if they were feeling emotions…

“Now you take control of three androids in their quest to discover who they really are. Tell your own story and confront moral dilemmas and thought-provoking situations in a branching narrative where every choice you make has consequences.

“Your actions and decisions shape the fate of the androids – and maybe even the future of the entire city.”

Horizon Chase Turbo, on the other hand, is an arcade racing game inspired by the likes of Outrun.

“Horizon Chase Turbo has a retro soul in a modern body. You’ll drive your car through extraordinary places, watching the sunset, facing rain, snow, harsh sandstorms and even a volcanic eruption.”
