PS Plus June 2019: Huge PS4 Game Deals revealed ahead of next PlayStation Plus free games
PS4 PS Plus members have been handed a welcome boost today even though they were already primed for another selection of awesome free games coming their way.
The PlayStation Plus June 2019 free games should be announced later today, with an announcement expected to arrive at the usual monthly time of 4.30pm BST.
We know it’s coming today because Sony make a habit of announcing the new PS Plus games on the last Wednesday of the month, before releasing them on the first Tuesday of the month.

To save you the trouble of opening the little calendar app, that means the announcement should come today, with the games releasing next Tuesday.
Of course, this also means you have less than a week to go to download the existing crop of free PS4 PlayStation Plus games. More on that further down.
Because as we mention, Sony PlayStation has got some doubly good news for fans today, with the announcement of a special EU sale on the PlayStation Store, with double discounts for PS Plus subscribers.
First, big thanks to PushSquare for alerting us to the deals on offer!
“Another week, another fresh batch of deals on PlayStation Store, with PS Plus Double Discounts leading the way,” PlayStation’s blog nonchalantly stated on a new blog post.
The offers are available from today (RIP your bank account) until 12th June, allowing you to grab some “hefty savings” across a wide variety of great titles.
This includes the likes of Assassin’s Creed Origins for just £16.99 and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus at £14.39.
Hell, it’s a smorgasbord of great offers. Too many for us to list (or be inclined to type in full) here. So click that link above and take a look for yourself
Oh and if you’re wondering why it’s called PS Plus double discounts, it’s because Non-PS Plus members can save up to 30% off games, whereas PS Plus members claim up to 60% off.
What are the PS Plus May 2019 games?
In the month of May PS Plus users can download two rather excellent and potentially overlooked games. Although it’s safe to say when you have given them ago, you’ll be unlikely to forget them such is their quality. Here’s a closer look at the two games:
What Remains of Edith Finch – Metacritic score – 88
Summary: What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. As Edith, you’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she’s the last one in her family left alive.
Overcooked! – Metacritic score – 78
Summary: Overcooked is a chaotic couch co-op cooking game for one to four players. Working as a team, you and your fellow chefs must prepare, cook and serve up a variety of tasty orders before the baying customers storm out in a huff.
For those that don’t know, we’ve detailed what PS Plus and its benefits are below.
