Resident Evil 3 Remake confirmed, coming PS4 and Xbox following PSN leak

Get ready to fight for your life against the forces of the animated undead: it looks like the Resident Evil 3 Remake is real.

Following on from the success of the Resident Evil 2 Remake , Capcom clearly wants to capitalise on the insatiable hunger for all things Resident Evil, and as such plans to launch Resident Evil 3 Remake at some point soon.

Today, after various rumours pointed towards the game's existence, it seems the first official art of the game has leaked on PlayStation Network.

Gamstat , a site that trawls PSN and collects icons, data and images from the Sony storefront, appears to have gathered artwork of the new game, featuring a terrifying HD version of Nemesis.

Take a look at all the uncovered art in the tweet below.

The art would suggest that the game will come with a standard release and another addition to boot – 'the Z Version'.

This will likely be a game with more content than the standard version, perhaps with more costumes for the main characters or bonus areas in-game.

This comes just days after YouTuber SpawnWave hinted that the Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Remake is in development, and is due to launch in 2020.

This story is breaking, and we'll add more information to this post as soon as we learn more – expect a formal announcement from Capcom in the weeks to come.

It's rumoured the game will be playable and announced at Japan's JumpFesta 2020, which takes place on December 21 and 22.
