Warzone Elimination Challenge release time and dates for PlayStation exclusive

Call of Duty fans are counting down to the start of the Warzone Elimination Challenge on PlayStation consoles. The Elimination Challenge – which appears to be a PlayStation exclusive event – has a July 5 release date and a July 11 end date. Based on previous Call of Duty updates and events, the Elimination Challenge is expected to start at 6pm BST UK time, although Activision will officially announce start time and details at 11pm BST UK time on July 4. That’s according to a countdown timer on the Elimination Challenge website.

Little else is known about the Elimination Challenge, although it appears to be a Warzone tournament in which players are eliminated each day.

While Activision is yet to make an official announcement, fans can expect a big prize at the end of it.

The event was teased in a Twitter post by Sony, which suggests it will be exclusive to PS4 and PlayStation 5.

It’s possible, however, that a separate Warzone Elimination Challenge will take place on Xbox and PC at a later date.

Daily Express will update this story when the details are announced at 11pm BST UK time on July 4.

The event takes place just a few weeks after the start of Season 4 in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone.

In terms of new features, the brand new Vondel Warzone map headlined the Season 4 update.

At launch, only Resurgence, DMZ, and the new Lockdown LTM will be playable on the Vondel map. Battle Royale will be playable after the mid-season update.

The Vondel map contains around 20 major points of interest, including a Castle, Zoo and Stadium, as well as the Floating District, University grounds, and City Hall.
