No new Xbox Series X games are coming to the Xbox Game Pass this week but that doesn’t mean there isn’t stuff being planned for later in January 2021.

As established by Microsoft last year, most Xbox One games are backwards compatible with the Xbox Series X.

But there’s only a small group of games that boast Xbox Series X next-gen enhancements.

It should be noted that nearly any Xbox One game you play on your Xbox Series X will come with some upgrades.

These usually boil down to faster load times and improved frame rate stability, which everyone can appreciate.

But the shortlist of Xbox Series X enhanced titles goes a step further, providing improvements like 120fps and 4K support.

And while a number of new Xbox Game Pass games were announced today as coming to the service this month, none of them appear on the official Series X enhanced list.

That doesn’t mean they’re not worth checking out but it should be noted that the next Xbox Game Pass Enhanced title isn’t scheduled to arrive until January 28.

Today’s new Xbox Game Pass games include the following titles:

eFootball PES 2021 Season Update (Android and Console) – January 7
