Xbox Series X fans looking to purchase the next-gen console from Microsoft can sign up to be entered in the next Box ballot. The UK retailer has received its latest shipment of the Xbox Series X with stock set to go on sale next week. Box.co.uk pioneered a ballot system for orders which Currys PC World has launched it’s own take on for PS5 restocks.
If you want to be in with a chance of ordering an Xbox Series X from Box then all you need to do is head to this website and enter your details.
As with any kind of ballot or raffle, just because you enter doesn’t mean you’ll be in with a chance of striking gold.
You’ll have to wait and see whether your name gets picked out of the (digital) hat to be eligible to place an order.
Explaining how the ballot system works, Box said: “All emails collected will be entered into a ballot whereby lucky entrants will receive an invitation to purchase the Xbox Series X.
Xbox reveal the upcoming Series X console
“Entrants to the ballot are not guaranteed the chance to purchase an Xbox Series X.
“All stock available will be allocated to random entrants, upon which successful entrants will be contacted in order to make payment.”
You can enter the ballot right now and will be informed next week if you’ve struck it lucky.
If you aren’t successful in the next ballot then you will be entered into the following one.
Explaining why they opted for this ballot system Box explained: “Box.co.uk have decided to run a ballot system for the new Xbox Series X while stock is in such constraint and demand is so high.
“The ballot system allows customers to sign up with their email address and name in order to be in with a chance of being selected at random to purchase a console.”
If you’re looking to get the cheaper Xbox Series S console the good news is Box aren’t running a ballot for that fun-sized next-gen machine.
The Xbox Series S is in stock and available to purchase right now from Box.
The standalone Series S console is sold out but Box has two bundles available at the time of writing – one priced at £279.99 and the other costing £299.
