Xbox Store DOWN: Microsoft Store not working, status latest and 0x000001f7 errors
Xbox Store down reports are coming in right now with the Microsoft Store experiencing some issues ahead of some major releases.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has received a surge of Xbox Store down reports this afternoon.
The Down Detector outage map says Xbox Store users in the UK, Europe and US are mainly affected.
As the Microsoft Store issues hit the phrase ‘Xbox Store’ started to trend on Twitter as Xbox fans reported issues with the service.
One tweeted: “Why is Xbox store not working I need FIFA”.
Another posted: “That @Xbox store needs to get fixed asap so i can stream some Cod Beta.”
One added: “Is the Xbox store down for anyone else?”
And another wrote: “Why even own an Xbox at this point, like seriously.
“If you think the Xbox Store going down is horrible then trust me you don’t know Xbox.”
The Xbox Store issues come on the same day that FIFA 20 EA Access early access and the Call of Duty Modern Warfare beta are launching.
The official Xbox Live Status page has confirmed the issues, saying there is limited service for purchase and content usage.
This affects buying items, redeeming codes and downloading purchases on Xbox One and Xbox on Windows 10.
The latest update on the Xbox Live Status page says: “Our engineers and developers are actively continuing to work to resolve the issue causing some members to have problems purchasing content.
“Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.”
While the official Xbox Support Twitter said: “Thanks for the reports! Our teams are looking into the errors that users are seeing in the store. We’ll update here & on our Status Page: http://xbox.com/status when we have more info to share.”
