Diablo 3, Super Smash Bros., and Tons More Great Switch Game Deals

If you buy something through this post, IGN may get a share of the sale. For more, read our Terms of Use.

Good news: if you held off picking up Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, your patience has been rewarded. Smash, and a slew of other big-time Nintendo Switch games, are just under $50 right now. And there are some other great Switch games for even less, most notably Diablo III Eternal Collection.

If you haven’t gotten yourself a Switch yet, there are some amazing Nintendo Switch deals going on right now, including one of the best Switch deals we’ve ever seen and the return of the special edition Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu Switch bundle.

Diablo III Eternal Collection for $39.99

It looks like a Super Smash Bros. stage creator mode is coming in the next update, so grab a copy now to avoid looking like a bandwagon stage creator fan. Plus it’s on sale!

Octopath Traveler for $44.99

This is one of my personal favorite Switch games and a wonderful way to bring old-school JRPG sensibilities into the modern era. I could go on at great length about how much I love this game, but I already did that in my Octopath Traveler review.

Tales of Vesperia – Definitive Edition for $34.99

From a pure content standpoint, the amount of game you get for the money with the Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition is astonishing. Now it’s on sale, making it an even better cost-to-content value.

Civilization VI for $39.99

If you already have Civ 6 on PC, it’s worth picking up the Switch version, too. You can now access the same save files from your PC on the Switch version, and vice versa, meaning you can pick up where you left off and take your civilization with you on the go. As if it weren’t already addictive enough.

ARMS for $47

ARMS is low-key one of the best fighting games out there, if for no other reason than it’s just so weird and delightful. But it’s also a lot of fun, and it’s on sale right now.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for $49.68

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a gorgeous, gigantic game anyone with a passing interest in JRPGs should check out. It’s on sale right now, too, big bonus.

Pokemon Let’s Go: Pikachu/Eevee for $49.93

If you’re as excited about the next mainline Pokemon games as basically the rest of humankind, the wait is pretty unbearable. Pokemon Sword and Shield don’t come out until late this year, so bide your time with the charming Let’s Go series.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for $49.94

All you need to know about Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze on Nintendo Switch is it includes a new Funky Mode. If you’re unfamiliar with the details of Funky Mode, it takes the edge off the DKC difficulty, making it fun for kids and adults who don’t necessarily want to bang their heads against a wall trying to defeat a very mean penguin.

Mario Tennis Aces for $49.94

Mario Tennis Aces is a return to form for the Mario Tennis series. Colorful graphics, weird ways to play tennis, and a bonkers story makes this one an ace… a Mario Tennis Ace, that is. Please forgive me.

Kirby Star Allies for $49.94

Kirby is the world’s most beloved creme puff, and with good reason. Not only is Kirby adorable, but he has the power to absorb the very souls of his opponents by devouring them on the fields of battle.

Bayonetta 2 for $49.94

This is a super great deal because not only is it on sale, but you also get two games for the price of one. If you never played the original Bayonetta, good news: it’s included with Bayonetta 2. I personally love this game and played the hell out of it on Wii U, because that’s just the kind of gamer I am.

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition for $49.94

This is another one of those great games that seems like maybe it shouldn’t work, but it totally does. The Definitive Edition has all the DLC right there on the cart, so you don’t need to download it from the eShop. You can just pop it into your Switch and start slashing (or hacking, your call).
