Twitch Prime Offers a Year of Free Nintendo Switch Online

Twitch Prime members can claim three months of Nintendo Switch Online and if they keep their Prime membership active for 60 days, they can claim another nine months.

The offer is open to Twitch Prime members and gets you all the benefits that come along with a Nintendo Switch Online, including online play, and access to a library of NES games (via The Verge.)

A Nintendo Switch Online membership will usually set you back $19.99 USD for 12 months, or $7.99 for three, so while it’s not very costly, if you already have an active Amazon Prime membership, it’s worth signing up for the deal to save yourself 20 bucks.

Nintendo Switch Online family memberships aren’t eligible for the offer, but if you have an individual membership you can claim the first three months between now and September 24. As long as you retain your Twitch Prime membership for the duratin of the 60 days, you can claim the following free nine-month membership up until January 22, 2020.

The subscriber count for Nintendo’s Online service surpassed 8 million in January, and there’s the possibility that SNES games will be added at some point in the future.
