After plunking down $300 on a Nintendo Switch, you might find it hard to spend more money on accessories. Unfortunately, the Switch only comes with 32GB of onboard storage, which is inadequate if you hope to build out any kind of digital library. Fortunately, you can increase your storage capacity 9-fold for only $30. For most people, a 256GB card is all you’ll ever need to hold every single one of your games.

This deal won’t last long.

The Ken amiibo was released just last week. Not only does Amazon have it in stock, it’s been discounted by 20% off. The Young Link amiibo (now out of stock) was discounted 20% off last week, and that deal lasted a very short time. We expect the same fate with this one.

The Vizio P-series TV lineup is often considered Vizio’s cream of the crop, but there’s actually a TV model that’s even superior, and that’s the P-series Quantum. The Quantum series improves image quality by increasing the number of active LED dimming zones to 192 and pumping up the brightness to 2000 nits. This makes it an exceptional TV for 4K and HDR content. Other features include  240Hz refresh rate, ultra-thin bezel, Chromecast built right in, and an included SmartCast remote with voice recognition.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital) for $15

This movie won the Oscar for best animated film of 2018 and it wholeheartedly deserves it. This movie is amazing and, in my opinion, I enjoyed it even more than Spider-Man: Homecoming. It makes great use of a diverse array of art styles and it’s a very novel twist on the traditional Spider-Man story. Don’t miss out!

This is one of very few themed Switch consoles (if you don’t count the ones that are “themed” with different colored Joy-Cons). It’s been sold out for most of the time since it was released late last year, but inventory has been replenished today. The bundle includes the Switch with yellow and gold Joy-Cons as well as a custom designed back and dock, a copy of Pokemon: Let’s Go! and the Poke Ball Plus. There’s no upcharge compared to buying this bundle separately, and you won’t get this design any other way.

The Sega Genesis Mini is now up for preorder with a slated release date of September 19. 40 games will be pre-loaded onto the console. The 10 we know of at the moment are:

  • Ecco the Dolphin
  • Castlevania: Bloodlines
  • Space Harrier 2
  • Shining Force
  • Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
  • Toe Jam & Earl
  • Comix Zone
  • Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Altered Beast
  • Gunstar Heroes

All reports indicate that Sega is going to do this release right. According to our own Seth Macy, “if you have emulation worries, Sega has M2 working on the emulation for its mini console. If you’re unfamiliar with M2, it handled the excellent Sega Ages Collections and also the delightful Sega 3D Classic collections for Nintendo 3DS. It would be hard to find a developer with a better pedigree to handle the software for the first-party Sega Genesis Mini.
